The founders of Align and Embrace are clinicians with over 50 years of combined experience who integrate theoretical knowledge with specific advanced skills in implementing culturally informed and responsive practices. They are committed to embracing the lifelong journey of embodying cultural humility and emerging as social change activists. Their social work advocacy contributes to transforming clinical care by providing education, resources, training, coaching, consulting, and technical assistance to individuals and organizations. Align and Embrace is leading the “Clinicians for Cultures” movement to build solidarity in healthcare among clinicians and organizations that educate and employ them.

They have experience providing case management, psychotherapy, professional development, coaching, training, and consulting for individuals and organizations across the world. Our mission is to support organizations that educate and employ clinicians to infuse inclusive practices where all dimensions of diversity are honored in service delivery. Align & Embrace equips clinicians with the confidence and skills necessary to engage in courageous conversations from a high level of cultural humility. Align and Embrace promotes the health and well-being of others by centering equity and justice in clinical practice.
